I was born and raised in the Midwest of the US. Or, more accurately stated, I am a white settler on Turtle Island of mostly Irish, English and French immigrants. I grew up in Indiana and Ohio on stolen Potawatomi, Delaware, Miami, Wyandot, Seneca, Lenape and Shawnee Land. I was born near the Blanchard River in the watershed of Lake Erie, and raised near the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers in Delaware territory. I was born into a long lineage of planter class farmers and factory workers, as well as singers, musicians, artists, quilters, cooks, bakers and builders.
I currently live as a settler on Huichin, the stolen ancestral Land of the Chochenyo Ohlone people. I reside near Lake Merritt, a dammed tidal lagoon in the wetlands that connect to the San Francisco Bay. I am in an ongoing relationship with my ancestors to both heal intergenerational harms and reclaim my Indigenous European connection to Land, culture, social, spiritual and arts practices.

I received my MA in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
I am informed by lineages of healing and liberation that are rooted in my ancestral practices of Celtic Pagan spirituality and global herstories of queer+trans healers. I am also influenced deeply by artists, social justice activists and movements, healing justice, anti-racism, feminism and culturally respectful, Earth-based practices as offered to me in relationship with other healers.
